Pricing is flat per Workspace, not per seat — one price regardless of how many people are on your team, up to the plan's developer limit.
How "active developers" are counted
An active developer is a distinct GitHub login that authored or reviewed a tracked pull request in the trailing 30 days. It's activity-based, so someone who's left the team drops out of the count automatically without you having to remove them. On Free, this count is a hard cap; on Pro and Business, it's the boundary between tiers.
Trials
Every new Workspace starts on a time-boxed trial of full Pro features, with no payment required. If the trial ends without moving to a paid plan, the Workspace automatically drops down to Free rather than losing access.
