Connect GitHub

Install the Angada GitHub App and choose which repos it can see.

Onboarding walkthrough (part 1 of 2, continues on Connect Slack). Screen-record starting from the onboarding Connect your code step: click Connect GitHub, choose repo access on GitHub's install screen, approve, and land back on Angada showing GitHub connected. Keep it silent/no narration, ~15-20s. Continues directly into the Slack connect flow on the next page as one clip.

What this does

Connecting GitHub installs the Angada GitHub App with read-only access, which you can revoke at any time. Whichever repos you grant the App access to become your Connected repos — that set is mirrored from the App's install, not curated inside Angada, so adding or removing a repo later means changing access on GitHub's side, not Angada's.

Steps

  1. On the Connect your code step of onboarding, select Connect GitHub.
  2. You're taken to GitHub's own installation screen. Choose All repositories or Only select repositories, then pick which ones if you chose the latter.
  3. Approve the install. You're returned to Angada, where the step now shows GitHub connected — Angada can now watch your pull requests.

Screenshots needed

  1. GitHub's repo-access picker, showing the All repositories / Only select repositories choice.
  2. The GitHub connected success card in Angada, after returning from GitHub. Annotate step 1 pointing at the two radio options; step 2 needs no annotation.

What happens next

Continue to Connect Slack to decide where those pull requests show up.
